REGISTRATION AVAILABLE ON JANUARY 6, 2026!
Now in our fifth year at Southwest High School, Flying Colors Prep is pleased to offer Southwest AVID students a FREE in-school ACT prep class this winter. This nine-hour prep class is available only to AVID students at Southwest High School. Here are some details on the class:
- The prep class will take place during the AVID section on Wednesday mornings for nine weeks starting in February (dates and times below).
- The class is designed to help students prepare for their school-day ACT, which will take place in school the week of April 20.
- Students can also consider taking the national ACT on April 11th and get a second opportunity to improve their scores. You can click here to register your student for the April 11th national ACT exam.
- Register your student for this prep class by completing the form below.
- Flying Colors Prep is also offering your student an opportunity to do a FREE practice ACT exam prior to starting the class. There are four dates from which to choose! On the day of the test, your student would test at home and log into a Zoom session through which we provide live proctoring. They would complete a pencil and paper test at home. Testing runs from 9:00am until 11:55am. Students with extra time will have until 1:20pm to complete their testing.
