Writing A Great Common App Essay
More than 1000 schools require the Common App essay. At Flying Colors, we know this essay requirement often makes students nervous. Before students write the first sentence, they face multiple questions:
- What do I want the admissions team to know about me that they can’t learn from other parts of my application?
- Which Common App essay prompt should I use, or should I create my own?
- How will I grab and hold the admission team’s attention as they wade through thousands of essays?
Our experienced essay specialists can help all students answer these questions! We offer streamlined, practical help at any stage of the essay process, including brainstorming topics, writing the (often anxiety-provoking) first draft, making revisions, and/or proofreading—all the while making sure that a student’s authentic voice is heard. We can also assist with the supplemental essays required by many schools.
