Comprehensive Assessment: Your student completes one or two full-length practice tests. These diagnostic ACTs and SATs provide an assessment of the student’s strengths and weaknesses as well as scores that can be compared and used to measure progress in the program.
Customized Plan: Our team puts together a personalized plan with tailored recommendations, including which test – the ACT or SAT – would be best, expected timing for a first test, when to begin preparation and how much your student can expect to improve.
Expert Matching: We recommend a set of instructors for your student. Your student’s schedule, learning style, and outside interests will factor into the selections. Each student works with two instructors, one of whom will tackle the verbal sections and the other math (or math and science on the ACT).
Personalized Support: After instructor selections are made, we work with you to arrange a series of weekly lessons. There is no minimum or maximum number of lessons. 12-14 lessons is typical in advance of a FIRST test. Two hours of homework per lesson and monthly practice tests are recommended.
Test Day Guidance: After a series of lessons and practice tests, your student is ready to take their first real ACT or SAT. Instructors work to ensure students have a clear plan of execution and appropriate expectations for the test. Results are available ten days after the exam date, and your education director will be standing by ready to review results, address questions and discuss next steps.
